Elevate Your Research to a Global Stage (July 2026 Round)

The Wellcome Trust is now accepting applications for the 2026 Career Development Awards. This program is designed to support high-potential mid-career researchers from Thailand and Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs) worldwide.

Program Highlights

• Funding Duration: Long-term financial support for up to 8 years.

• Funding Amount: Grants are typically up to £250,000 (please note: this amount excludes the applicant's salary).

• Focus Area: Innovative research aimed at solving health challenges and improving human well-being.

General Eligibility & Criteria

• You are a mid-career researcher ready to transition into a research leadership role.

• You are affiliated with a research institution or university in an eligible country (including Thailand).

• You possess a compelling research proposal that demonstrates the potential for significant positive impact on global health.
